Constellium Ussel becomes UCELIA

The group Constellium announced in September 2022 that it was studying the sale of its Ussel plant which specializes in Aluminum Precision Sand Casting as part of its strategy to refocus more particularly on its rolling and spinning activities. 

On the 3rd of February 2023 the group announced the finalization of the sale to the French investment holding NOE Industries. 

With extensive experience in the aeronautics market and specializing in the acquisition of stakes in French companies, Noe Industries has undertaken in its offer to take over all the jobs and to invest in the modernization of the industrial tool. Noe also confirmed its confidence in the site’s current management team.

Noe Industries announces the acquisition of the industrial site in Ussel on February the 3rd 2023 in Paris.  The French investment holding company Noe Industries announces today the finalization of the acquisition of the Ussel plant from the group Constellium, world leader in the development and manufacturing of high value-added aluminum products and solutions. With 250 employees and a turnover of around 20 million euros in 2021, the Ussel plant specializes in Aluminum Precision Sand Casting for the aerospace and military/defense sectors. This announcement follows the completion of the information process and regulatory consultation of the employee representative bodies. Constellium had announced its intension to study and possible sale of this specialized precision foundry in September 2022.  

With extensive experience in the aeronautics market and specializing in acquiring stakes in French companies, Noe Industries intend to maintain all the jobs in place as well as invest in the modernization of the plant’s industrial facilities.  It also confirms its confidence in the plant’s current management team.
